Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another -- Hebrews 10:23-25
The Bible tells us that Christ is faithful, so we should grow in our faith in Him and that it should change our lives. The environment Christ provided for that growth is the local assembly of believers -- the local church.
Plugging into a body of believers puts you in the environment that Christ established to help you grow and be encouraged.
